PiYo Day Twelve (Define Lower Body)

Family Workout Attempt

No rest for the wicked…the wicked being an exaggeration of course.  Today I had to forfeit my rest day because of my missed workout earlier this week.  I would say it was well worth the change in schedule as today’s weather was no where near as nice as Tuesday and when you live in the midwest you jump on those early springtime days because a blizzard could be hiding just around the corner.

Today was PiYo Define Lower Body, I can definitely tell I am getting stronger with these workouts.  This time I was able to hold all of my planks without going to my knees as well as not needing to take any additional rest breaks, bravo to me!

As my workout buddy is off being a totally awesome super nerd celebrating at the Star Wars Convention (super jelly)  we decided to switch things up here at the Zuck house.  We tried for a family workout, it went great for the first 10 minutes (for those of you who have been following since the beginning you may notice this 10 minute trend).  Davey worked on tummy time and we got to work out the weeks stressors.  Too good to last, halfway through the first warrior series Davey decided he had enough and wanted to be put to sleep.  Chris came to the rescue picking up Davey and allowing me to finish the workout on my own…at least we tried.
